Kirchhorst and Hannover

 We visited Kirchhorst a small village near Hannover. This is the place where our current host grown up.
  We also visited Hannover. On the first picture you see the "Marktkirche". 
Then we went to the "Neues Rathaus"
 It was very palatial. Fun fact: The current mayor from Hannover lived in Kirchhorst too.
At last we visited the "Landesmuseum". On the first picture we sit in a big shell.
 We meet a seal.

Verkuektheiten

Our current host had a blog called "Verkuektheiten" www.verkuektheiten.blogspot.de and the faccebook page https://www.facebook.com/Verkuektheiten. It's a play of words between "verrückt" (crazy) and "Küken" (chicks). And we were allowed to assist in the realization of a picture, here is the result:

A day in Frankfurt (Main)

 Today we visit the Main metropol Frankfurt.
Frankfurt is called "Mainhatten" becaus of the couple of skyscrapers in the banking district

 Here we are in fort of the €-symbol it is next to the European Central Bank (ECB)

We were invited to visit the Poetry Slam in Wiesbaden.
We sat at the entrance with facing stage in society of the chicks, which we visit at the moment.

Stendal we are back

 Today we arrived back in Stendal
 Here is our travel box
And tada! Here we are again! This time we have Lübecker Marzipan hearts with in our luggage. Because our hosts are from Lübeck! THANK YOU IVANA AND HENRIK FOR THE TIME WITH YOU!

Last day in paradise

 Today is our last day in Bali.
 The last hours before the airplane leave, we spent at the beautiful beach.
 The way to the airport was tipical for Bali by a smal bus!
It is normal that the bus is open at tail.

Bali it was a nice time with you!

We are looking forwad to arrive our home next days.

Today we had a fancy meal in a fancy restaurant.

Here you can see the fantastic view over the rice fields form the restaurants balcony.

We had some traditional cake...

 Today we visited some more exotic animal...

 We took a refreshing shower in a fountain.

At the Zoo

 Today we visited the Bali Zoo.

 First we were allowed to feed a huge crocodile a chicken. We were a bit scared, so we didn't go closer.


 We prefer to watch the wild animals from a safe distance.

 Today we visited one of the oldest signs of Balinese culture: The Buddhistic Elephant Cave. We had to climb a countless number of steps to get there!

Spicy day


Today we saw the volcano Batur. This is an active volcano on the Pacific Ring of Fire

We also visited a spice garden in Ubud.
Here you learn a lot about spices, coffee, cocoa and fruit.
We were allowed to feast on by all sorts once.
 Last but not least we bought a pack of the most expensive coffee in the world! The beans are previously eaten and digested by cats...
