Before we continue our journey to the wild wild East we enjoyed our last days in Helsinki:
Souvenir-shopping:
On
the flea market next to the Hakaniemi market hall we purchased a great
souvenir for Johannes, it will be a surprise :) In the supermarket we
bought Liquorice, the candy Finland is well known for. Very yummy and
hopefully there will be something left for Johannes, we try our best.
On our last day in beautiful Finland we went to a great beach on
Lauttasaari, an island just west of the Helsinki city centre. The sun
was shining and it was a prefect last day, thanks to our Airbnb host
Johanna for this insiders' tip.
The last sunset with a wonderful view of the Baltic sea. We took a
stroll in the Kaivopuisto park around 10pm and it was still very bright
...
